DR.01Data Recovery · Rouse Hill Workshop
Get your files back when the worst happens.
Failed hard drives, dead SSDs, corrupted USB sticks and SD cards, accidentally deleted files, machines that won't boot. We assess every drive honestly and recover what we can.
DR.02What We Recover
Common failures we see every week.
From a dropped external drive to a laptop that suddenly won't start, most data loss falls into a handful of categories.
Failed hard drives & SSDs
Drives that won't mount, click, or spin up. We assess the failure type before recommending a recovery path.
USB sticks & SD cards
Corrupted or unreadable removable media from cameras, phones and portable drives.
Accidental deletion
Files deleted, formatted over, or lost after a botched update. Often recoverable if you stop using the drive straight away.
No-boot machines
PC or laptop won't start? We pull your files off the drive before touching anything else.
Formatted & corrupted drives
Reformatted drives, corrupted partitions and file systems that won't mount cleanly.
External & RAID drives
External enclosures, NAS units and multi-disk RAID arrays with a failed or degraded member.
DR.03Our Process
Honest assessment, then a fixed quote.
We never guess with your data. Here's exactly what happens when you bring a drive in.
Assess
We examine the drive to work out whether it's a logical fault (deletion, corruption, formatting) or a physical one (clicking, not spinning, water or impact damage).
Fixed quote
You get a clear, fixed quote before any work begins. No surprises once recovery is under way.
Recover & hand over
Recovered files are copied to a new drive or set up in the cloud, whichever suits you best.
Severe cases referred on
Drives with serious mechanical damage need cleanroom equipment we don't run in-house. In those cases we refer you to a specialist recovery lab rather than guess.
DR.04 // Why It Matters
We tell you the truth about your drive.
Not every failure can be fixed on our bench. Drives with serious mechanical damage need cleanroom equipment that we don’t run in-house. Rather than attempt a risky recovery ourselves, we’ll refer you to a specialist recovery lab and explain what to expect.
- Assessed in-house before any work begins
- Clear, fixed quote before any recovery work starts
- Files handed back on a new drive or set up in the cloud
- Severe mechanical failures referred to a specialist lab, not guessed at
