Warranty
In-case something happens.
JCR Computers warrants that the computer systems it manufactures or any components sold will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. All systems are extensively & thoroughly tested, for several hours, to ensure that all parts & components are working correctly at the time of dispatch. The standard limited warranty term is 1 year beginning on the date of invoice.
This limited warranty does not cover damage due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, overclocking, problems with electrical power, servicing not authorized by JCR Computers, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by JCR Computers. The limited warranty does not cover wear and tear to the computer case, such as broken audio & USB ports, scratches, LEDs and misaligned case panels unless reported within the first 7 days of receiving the computer system. The Limited warranty does not cover any labour/call-out charges associated with removing and replacing parts purchased from JCR Computers if they are installed inside a computer system not purchased from JCR Computers. Nor does it cover any Data Loss/Recovery.
This limited warranty does not cover any items that are in one or more of the following categories: Labour, software, monitors, keyboards, and mice, accessories, LED’s or parts & peripherals added to a JCR Computers system after the system is shipped from JCR Computers, accessories or parts added that are not installed in the JCR Computers workshop. We cannot guarantee that a customer’s own peripherals will work 100% with a computer tower supplied by JCR Computers. In some cases, JCR Computers represents the products we sell, but we have no control over the warranty of these products. Keyboards & Mice are warranted for 12 months only. Monitors carry manufacturers warranty.
During the warranty period beginning on the invoice date, JCR Computers will repair or replace products returned to JCR Computers workshop. To request limited warranty service, you must contact JCR Computers Technical Support within the limited warranty period before returning any item. You must ship the products back to JCR Computers in their original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. JCR Computers will ship the repaired or replacement products to you freight prepaid. NOTE: Before you ship the product(s) to JCR Computers, back up the important data on the hard-disk drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Although, we usually try and rescue or preserve data, anything can happen in the shipping of the system or parts, etc.
The end-user is responsible for all data. JCR Computers assumes no responsibility for loss of data.
JCR Computers owns all parts removed from repaired products. JCR Computers uses new parts made by various manufacturers in performing limited warranty repairs. If JCR Computers repairs or replaces a product, its limited warranty term is not extended.
This warranty excludes Laptop/Tablet Batteries, Software issues including Viruses, Trojans, Worms, Mal-ware and software and driver incompatibilities.
A service fee may apply if the system (hardware) is found not faulty.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE . JCR’S RESPONSIBILITY FOR MALFUNCTIONS AND DEFECTS IN HARDWARE IS LIMITED TO REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT. THERE ARE NO IMPLIED OR EXPRESS WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ALL SOFTWARE SOLD IS SOLD “AS IS” WITH NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Please refer to manufacturer for software issues.
